Epsilon-Caprolactam

Caprolactam products, mainly used in nylon fiber, nylon engineering plastics, nylon film, polyurethane and other production fields.

Appearance of white powder or crystal, oily feel. Caprolactam is one of the important organic chemical raw materials, the main use is to generate polyamide slice by polymerization (usually called nylon -6 slice, or nylon -6 slice), can be further processed into nylon fiber, engineering plastics, plastic film. With different quality and index, nylon -6 slice has different application fields.

Five functions and uses of caprolactam

1. It is mainly used for producing caprolactam resin, caprolactam fiber and artificial leather, etc.

2. It is used as a pharmaceutical raw material for the synthesis of several drugs, including pentenetetrazole, meheptazine alcohol and lauryl urea

3. The vast majority of caprolactam is used in the production of polycaprolactam. About 90% of the latter is used in the production of synthetic fibers, namely capulons, and 10% is used as plastics, which are used in the manufacture of gears, bearings, pipes, medical devices and electrical and insulating materials. It is also used in coatings, plastics and, to a lesser extent, in the synthesis of lysine.

4. Manufacture polyamide type synthetic fiber, gas chromatography fixed liquid.
